Programme of meetings:-
The next meeting will be on Wednesday 25th January at 7.30pm in the village hall. Guest speaker David Bond will give a talk on "Historic Churchyards". This is a welcome return for an excellent speaker whose talks are always interesting and informative. This tour of historic churchyards will include examples from this area. Entrance for visitors and guests, who are very welcome, is £2.
News from the Historical Society:-
The new issue of "Bygone Brigstock" has been produced with many interesting articles on various aspects of the history of the village and is now on on-sale.

- Brigstock Historical Society is interested in hearing from anyone with family connections who can give us any information on the village.
- Meetings are held at 7:30pm on the 4th Wednesday of every month at Brigstock Village Hall.
- Annual subscription is currently£5.00. Non-members £2.00 per meeting.
- Several of our members have large collections of photographs of the village and its inhabitants past and present.
- We have 11 issues of our publication, Bygone Brigstock, from 1979 to 2005, copies of some issues are still available. for further details. We are hoping to publish Bygone Brigstock 12 this year.
